Off-road motorized expedition, rock crawling, overland exploration, and backcountry trail navigation involve severe inherent risks including vehicle rollover, mechanical failure, chassis high-centering, tire puncture, rockfall, flash flooding, and bodily injury or death.

You operate your vehicle entirely at your own risk. TerraMatrix Pro calculations are mathematical approximations and do not guarantee obstacle clearance or passage safety under changing physical terrain conditions.

Terrain Dynamic Variance & Digital Elevation Model (DEM) Limits

Topographical elevation profiles, contour models, and clearance estimates rely on satellite Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) and user-recorded GPX trail tracks. Natural environments are constantly subject to erosion, washouts, fallen trees, monsoon silt displacement, mud ruts, and rock movement that cannot be reflected in static elevation data.

Always stop and physically walk ambiguous obstacles before attempting committed vehicular ingress.

Wading Depth, River Crossings & Hydrological Hazards

Vehicle manufacturer water fording specifications and intake height clearances reflect static, calm test conditions. Real backcountry water crossings involve turbulent currents, shifting riverbed rocks, hidden silt holes, and sudden upstream surge releases.

Never rely solely on digital depth estimates. Always probe riverbeds on foot or with a wading pole, verify current water velocity, and disengage radiator fans or fit appropriate water bra / snorkel equipment before entering water.

Mechanical Modifications, Suspension Lift & Center of Gravity (CoG)

Inputting aftermarket suspension lifts, oversized tires, fabricated heavy bumpers, winches, rooftop tents, and heavy overland gear substantially raises your vehicle's vertical Center of Gravity (CoG) and dynamic roll inertia.

Calculated clearance improvements do not increase roll stability. Vehicles with suspension lifts exhibit increased rollover propensity at significantly shallower side-slope roll angles. Operators must exercise extreme caution during off-camber maneuvers.

Restricted Lands, Military Buffers & Environmental Compliance

TerraMatrix Pro includes reference boundaries for protected national parks, wildlife reserves, tribal jurisdictions, and military buffer zones. However, land ownership, trail permits, seasonal closures, and border restrictions change frequently.

It is the sole responsibility of the vehicle operator to obtain all necessary permits, heed physical gate signage, observe Tread Lightly! ethics, and comply with all local, state, national, and military jurisdiction laws.

Disaster Data Aggregation & Network Latency Notice

Multi-agency disaster alerts (IMD, NDMA SACHET, USGS, UN GDACS, NOAA NWS, Australia BOM) are ingested from public governmental and humanitarian APIs. Alert delivery is subject to upstream data availability, network connectivity when in signal range, and agency update cadences.

When traveling in remote offline wilderness zones, disaster feeds reflect the last synchronized state. Do not rely on offline alerts for sudden immediate flash floods or rapid wildfire shifts. Monitor dedicated satellite communicator warnings and emergency radio bands.
